Location

Bear Run is off the beaten path. In winter, 4WD or all-wheel drive is a must have. Shin Hollow, the main road off Route 6, is a dirt road as is Laurel Crest. Both can be somewhat rough so drive with caution. This is an area filled with cabins sitting amidst the forest. Laurel Crest is a dirt road that dead ends a bit past Bear Run. One can ride ATVs in the summer and snowmobiles in the winter. Wildlife is abundant. Bear Run sits back from the road in a clearing and in summer is barely visible so privacy is assured.
